No One Wants Fresher Engineer As An Employee

No One Wants a Fresher Engineer as an Employee. Truth or Myth?

Eventually, people ask me about how to get a job position been a fresh engineer once no one wants/hire fresh engineers in their Company. This is a very difficult question, and to be sincere, I do not have the magic formula to give you.

But let me tell you something. Being an engineer is to look for solving problems, not to complain about them.

In my book (The Chemical Process Engineer and LinkedIn), I shared with you I spent more than one and a half year to get my first job as a chemical process engineer. My mindset was; if there are people who get their first job, how can I do the same?

It is a very different approach to a problem. Keeping the right mindset is the first step to reach your goals.

Someone to mentor you also helps, most fresher feels without a North. Let me give you something to think about:

– Have you listed Companies you would like to work for?

– Do you know which Company has an international program for fresher engineers?

– Do you need to do some training or specialization to increase your changes?

– Do you need to work as a volunteer for a short period of time to add some experience to your resume?

Do you SEE YOURSELF as AN ENGINEER?

Never give up!

I hope this post gives you some light on your journey.
